It has to be stated that if the Backflow device is on a fire system the alarm system will need to be disarmed which might require coordinating with a fire alarm company.
It needs to be stated that the water will be off during testing for a domestic water Backflow device.
Payment is due at the time of testing. It costs $165.00 per device in Bergen County regardless of whether the device passes or fails. The test results will not be submitted to the water company without payment.
If a device fails, a price will be given to rebuild or replace the device. If WxFx does the repair there will not be a charge to retest the device.
